Summary (DOAJ collection)

In the article "Some Linguo-cultural Concept in Contemporary British Literature" Asratyan Z.D. comments on the topic of the origins and appearance of the term "concept" and differences in understanding the same words in different linguo-cultures. . The author claims that the linguo-cultural concept is formed under the influences of the culture and found in works of writers as their individual concepts. First, Asratyan Z.D. analyzes the differences of the terms "notion" and "concept" in Russian and European languages. The concept is defined in general as a notion within the cultural framework. The concept is an idea seen through the national consciousness. According to the variety of topics in a text, there can be a number of concepts such as micro-concept, macro-concept and the global concept. The last one is viewed as the main idea or purpose of the creation of the work. Then, the author compares the concept of "crime" and "punishment" in the Russian and British linguo-cultures through examples from the literature. Finally, Asratyan Z.D. concludes that in the British linguo-culture the connection between the concepts of "crime" and "punishment" is not so close than in the Russian one.
I've chosen this article because it includes the definition of the term "concept", its understanding in different languages and an example of the comparison of the concepts of the same words in two different linguo-cultures, which I'm supposed to do during writing my course paper.
While reading the article I got a couple of questions: 
1. What are the cultural forces which influence the formation of different concepts of one and the same word in different linguo-cultures?
2. Does the concept of a given word change a lot historically within the same linguo-culture?

She claims that communicative experience must be integrated into classes and teachers have to be proficient enough to organize and to guide this process. First, Sandra J. In the article " The Literature Review: A Few Tips On Conducting It " Dena Taylor comments on how to write a literature review. The author mostly presents a number of questions which everyone should ask yourself to get a good piece of writing of that type. First, she gives a general explanation what a literature review is and what it must do. It is also mentioned that a well-written literature review demonstrates the writer's skills in information seeking and critical appraisal. Dena Taylor insists on asking yourself questions about these areas of skills, thesis, scope, type and contrary studies while writing. Then, the author moves to the questions about the book or the article the review is based on. These questions are mostly about its author and structure including main problems and theses.
